MPD-ECAL simulation and physics performance

Room: 241 The ECAL is an important detector of the future MPD experimental setup, which is designed to measure photons, electrons and neutral mesons in a high multiplicity environment. The simulation of the MPD-ECAL with the latest available geometry of the detector is now available in the mpdroot. In this talk, we review the approaches, which are used to reconstruct and unfold signals in the calorimeter, expected physics performance of the ECAL, and provide instructions and explanation of the basic variables.
