We are pleased to announce that the next ARIADNA Collaboration Meeting will be held on 4-6 September 2024 in Dubna. It will be held as a hybrid event combining in-person presence with a virtual participation.

The meeting addresses the major topics of the applied research programme at NICA complex and include a plenary session, round-table discussion and visits to NICA facility. It offers scientists working within the ARIADNA Collaboration an opportunity to share their work, discuss first results, and explore the latest advances in experimental capabilities of the NICA facility for applied research.

The meeting will feature invited talks on the following particular topics:

  • Radiation protection in space;
  • Life Sciences and medical application of heavy ion beams;
  • Radiation hardness control of electronic components for application in space;
  • Radiation materials science and new composite materials;
  • Accelerator driven subcritical reactors (ADSR);
  • Supporting user infrastructure for applied research at NICA;
  • Bioethics and animal use in experiments at NICA;
  • NICA user programme for applied research.

The programme of the meeting will also include a round table discussions on the most requested directions of the envisaged user programme for applied research at NICA.

The event will be attended by leaders of the teams of collaborating organizations. The gates of entering new organizations into the ARIADNA collaboration will be discussed.
