Abstract: In this seminar, I will give a general overview of the strategy usually adopted to extract transverse-momentum-dependent (TMD) distributions from collider experimental data. I will discuss the impact of present and past data on TMDs, and will also touch upon future data from the EIC and the SPD at NICA. Using unpolarised TMD as a guideline, I will also briefly discuss quark Sivers and gluon Boer-Mulders distributions.
