Description
A scientist uses the scientific method to study the natural world through observation and experimentation, while a philosopher uses reason and logic to explore abstract concepts like truth, meaning, and ethics. However, both philosophers and scientists seek to understand the world through critical thinking, logical reasoning, and a commitment to truth.
As I am growing older, I often think about the difference between a scientist and a philosopher. It seems to me that to the scientist, doubt is an adversary; and to the philosopher, doubt is an ally. The question is – Who you are, a Scientist or a Philosopher.
