Description

The Far Detector of the NOvA experiment is located on the surface. It can be considered one of the biggest scintillator cosmic ray telescope. Since the size of the far detector makes it possible to use it as a pairmeter, it is possible to study muons in the energy range from 100 GeV to 10 TeV. With the help of high-energy muons, it is possible to measure the energy spectrum, the characteristics of the muon family as part of extensive air showers (EAS).
