item 1.

César presented the current status of the CMIS deployment at JINR. The full deployment is planned to be concluded within December but there is already some delay accumulated.

César (Answering to Yaping): Once the system will be fully deployed will not be available for full test from China because the scripts have to be adapted to the JINR’s connection configuration. Although, some custom scripts may be provided in order to test the connection from China. In any case the forthcoming holiday season in Russia and Slovakia has to be taken into account (End of December - Mid January).

 

item 2.

Ekaterina presented the current status for the organization of export/import of components/materials between Russia and China.  A first shipment to China is being prepared containing 15 FPCs and 10 wafers of pad chips for training purposes. This will be done with the creation of an addendum to the current MoU NICA-Wuhan. (The addendum was sent on 25.11.2020 to Yaping for signing)

As for the future sustained  and large scale import/export operations the Russian side is already working on a kind of Collaboration Agreement, that will be also use as the fundamental document in order to ask for financial support from JINR.

In order to seed the production of this document, Yaping will ask to the Chinese colleagues from the Ecal collaboration about a similar document that is being prepared for their project so to understand from the China side who has the authority for signing such legal document and the general requirement for the text compilation.

Yuri reported that in a meeting from the day before Stefania informed that ALCIE-ITS is in the capacity to sell the equipment for setting up 1 HIC assembly site and 2 Stave assembly site in China, like the  equipment sold to JINR in Add4. She also agreed to be contacted directly on this matter by the Chinese members of the MPD-ITS collaboration requiring only that Antonello should be always in Cc.

Yaping would coordinate the contact with Stefania/Antonello for this matter.

 

 

Next ‘OB Assembly meeting’ date was set to December 21 (Monday) at 09h30(Moscow) / 14h30(Beijing).
