Description

The results of the development of an automatic frequency control (AFC) device for a two-gap buncher are presented in this paper. This buncher is used in the middle energy beam channel (MEBT) between the RFQ and the accelerator of the Alvarez LU-20. This device allows you to automatically adjust the resonant frequency of this buncher to the frequency of LU-20. The results of the modeling for this device are presented in this paper. The results of the experimental verification for this buncher are presented in this paper.
