Topics of the meeting:
- Priority areas in the study of cultural heritage using nuclear physics methods;
- Prospects and opportunities for the development of nuclear physics methods for the study of cultural heritage objects;
- Coordination and integration of the research groups work in the field of human and natural science.
It is expected to discuss the results achieved and further prospects of using the following methods:
- Radiography and tomography using neutron and synchrotron beams;
- Neutron and X-ray diffraction;
- Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA & PGAA);
- X-ray fluorescence analysis;
- Mössbauer effect;
- Other methods (resonances in nuclear reactions, PIGE, PIXE, RBS, NMR, neutron deep profiling, etc.).
