The Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is holding the annual scientific conference of young scientists and specialists "Alushta-13" on 9-16 June, 2024.
This year, the conference is dedicated to modern achievements in medical physics, in particular, the development of the concept and project to create a scientific and clinical proton therapy center based on the MSC-230 Superconducting Proton Cyclotron. At the event, young JINR scientists and specialists will present reports on their scientific research. In addition, it is planned to hold discussions on the topic of the lectures, as well as a round table with the JINR Directorate and the Dubna city administration, where young scientists and specialists will be able to ask their questions and make their suggestions regarding the development of infrastructure, the organization of the scientific process, social policy and many other issues related to the Institute and the city.
The working languages of the conference are English and Russian.
Students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists under the age of 35 are invited to participate in the conference with presentations. Participants will be selected by the program committee based on the submitted applications.
The membership fee for JINR employees is 15,000 rubles. For external participants, it is 20,000 rubles.
