Visa information

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is an international intergovernmental scientific research organisation registered with the United Nations on 1 February 1957. It is situated in Dubna on the territory of the Russian Federation. To enter the Russian Federation, a participant needs to apply for a visa at the nearest Russian Consulate in his/her country.

A reference number or an original invitation received from the Consular Service in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be forwarded to a participant for its further presenting at the nearest Russian Consulate in his/her country.

Please note that visas with original invitations issued by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are granted for free but require more time so you are kindly requested to register at the conference website as soon as possible.

Please be advised, that your passport must be valid for 6 months after the visa expiration date.
