Meeting’s agenda:
Main points:
- Studied inclusive Lambda polarization, generated in DCM-QGSM via DeGrand-Markkanen-Miettinen approach (Au-Au, 9 GeV, ~100000 events, b=0 fm).
- The approach is used for pp collisions, so doesn't account for dilution of inclusive polarization in HIC -> gives upper limit of inclusive polarization
- Need to account for polarization of secondary Lambdas and rescattering
- The experimental value is higher than the "true" model polarization, might indicate that acceptance effects differ in polarized/non-polarized case -> need to calculate efficiency in each case.
- Next step: estimate global polarization extraction within MPD framework (generated by the PHSD model)
