VIII-th Collaboration Meeting of the MPD Experiment at the NICA Facility is organized in Dubna, Russia at the V.I.Veksler and A.M.Baldin LABORATORY OF HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on October 12-14, 2021 either in person or remotely.

The recent milestones in the production of the MPD apparatus in the MPD Hall and the MPD Pit, including the MPD Magnet system will be presented. The status of the production of the components of all major subdetectors as well as their installation, commissioning and calibration schedule will be discussed. The schedule of NICA complex construction and commissioning as well as plans for first beams will be provided. New developments in the performance studies for physics observables, carried out within the MPD Physics Working Groups will be presented, including publication plans. Computing and software infrastructure will also be discussed.
