Description
The different QCD mechanisms of single spin asymmetries related to "naive" T-violation are discussed, with the special emphasis to contributions of Anatoli Vasil'evich Efremov.The relevant imaginary phases may correspond to hard (perturbative loops) and soft (T-odd fragmentation and fracture functions) regimes and their overlap (twist 3, effective T-odd distribution functions).
The comparison with the polarization in heavy-ion collisions, where dissipation plays the prominent role, is discussed.
