First announcement and call for papers

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, (JINR) organizes the conference "New Trends in High-Energy Physics". It will be held in Budva, Becici, Montenegro on 24 - 30 September, 2018.

The conference will take place in a small town of Becici, in the Splendid Conference & SPA Resort Hotel, the largest conference venue in Montenegro.

Getting to the Venue

 

There are 2 airports in Montenegro: Tivat Airport (25km from Budva, Becici) and Podgorica Airport (75km from Budva, Becici). Transfer from the airports can be arranged for an extra charge (from Tivat airport - 25 Euro for three passenger seats, from Podgorica airport - 55 Euro for three passenger seats).

Preliminary topics:
 

1)  Test of the Standard Model and search for New physics 
2)  Multi-messenger astrophysics
3)   Neutrino physics
4)   Elastic and diffractive scattering of hadrons and nuclei 
5)  Deep inelastic scattering and multiparticle dynamics 
6)   Ion colliders for study of the baryonic matter at extreme conditions
7)   Computing for Large Scale Accelerator Facilities (LHC, FAIR, NICA, etc.) 
8)   New detector and data analyses technique

 

The program will include invited talks (30 minutes) and selected contributed reports (20 minutes).
 

The working language is English.

Accommodation
 

Organizers of the conference propose accommodation for participants in hotels Splendid Montenegro Conference & Spa Resort 5* and Montenegro Beach Hotel 4*. Rooms are booked at special rates for the conference, given by “Montenegro Stars Hotels Group” (available during registration at website of the symposium). Number of proposals for rooms in the hotel “Splendid” is limited.

JINR paid for the rooms in advance to keep the prices low, so the participants have to pay for rooms to organizing committee.

Prices are for one night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included (Full Board (FB)). Food for choice, served as buffet table in both hotels for all participants of the conference.

The Registration Fee will cover a copy of the conference proceedings, welcome party, refreshments during coffee breaks and an excursion.

Please pay attention that participants have to pay for rooms along with registration fee to organizing committee by card, cash or bank transfer.

Due to technical reasons credit cards can't be accepted during registration! You are kindly asked to pay your conference fee and accomodation fee via bank transfer or by cash upon your arrival. The bank transfer is more preferable. You will get your payment confirmation documents during registration.

Payment by credit card or cash will be made upon conference participant registration at the conference organizing Committee. Payment by bank transfer would be made in advance (see below).
Pay attention that for bank transfer would apply exchange rates and transfer fees depending of the banks. In case of payment by card would apply exchange rates depending of the banks.
