About Visa procedure Joint Institute for Nuclear Research usually follows a simpler procedure when most of visa deals are done by the our International cooperation department. Following this procedure, we collect your visa stuff and pass it to the Department of Consular Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. The visa applications are usually accepted about 1,5 month prior to the Conference. Then the Ministry sends the ready official invitations to entry Russian Federations to the Org. Comm. The Org. Comm. mails these invitations to your institutions by using addresses in your visa forms. After getting these Ministry invitations, you should present them to the Russian embassy and at once get visa. So, the only things you should do are: - to send us the visa form and copy of the passport page, - to receive by mail the official Ministry invitation, - to get visa by using this invitation. Please pay attantion, that your passport must be valid for 6 months after the visa expiration date.
