Travel information

To reach Dubna one should fly to Moscow. There are several air terminals. Flying  to Sheremetievo airport is strongly recommended at least for non-russians who would appreciate to be met by the transport service of JINR, Dubna.

If you arrive by train or travel from the airport on your own be aware of the following information. 
The buses Moscow-Dubna depart from Savelovsky railway terminal at
09.30, 10.30, 11.30, 12.45, 14.00, 15.30, 16.30,  18.30, 20.10, 23.00.

The buses Dubna-Moscow depart from Bolshaya Volga railway station at
04.15, 05.15, 06.45, 07.45, 09.15, 10.45,  12.15, 13.15, 16.15, 18.45
The trains to Dubna depart from from Savelovsky railway station (metro Savelovskaya).

How to reach Moscow

• from Sheremetievo airport

The timetable of direct trains from Sheremetievo airport to Moscow is available here. The travel time is 30 minutes. The ticket costs 450 rubles. The trains arrive at Belorussky railway station

• from Domodedovo airport

The timetable of direct trains from Domodedovo airport to Moscow is available here. The travel time is 40-50 minutes. The ticket costs 450 rubles. The trains arrive at Paveletsky railway station.

• from Vnukovo airport

The timetable of direct trains from Vnukovo airport to Moscow is available here. The travel time is 35 minutes. The ticket costs 450 rubles. The trains arrive at Kievsky railway station.

Be careful with using taxi in Moscow. Use only a registered taxi which has a taxi label on the car. The prices are unpredictable and usually much higher than in West Europe. To avoid unpleasant situations, always ask the price before the trip! If the driver does not tell the approximate price in advance, it is better not to use this taxi. If you need a bill, ask about this option in advance.

Please take into account that drivers and other people in service usually speak only Russian. So, to avoid misunderstanding, we advise to write your request in advance on a piece of paper and ask for the written response.
