First announcement and call for papers

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, (JINR) organize the conference "New Trends in High-Energy Physics". It will be held in Budva, Becici, Montenegro on 02 October - 08 October, 2016.

The conference will take place in a small town of Becici, in the Splendid Conference & SPA Resort Hotel, the largest conference venue in Montenegro.

Preliminary topics:

• Test of the Standard Model 
• New physics search beyond the Standard Model
• Neutrino physics
• Elastic and diffractive scattering of hadrons and nuclei 
• Deep inelastic scattering and multiparticle dynamics 
• Advances in quantum field theory 
• Astroparticle physics
• Non-accelarator data 
• Ion colliders for study of the baryonic matter at extreme conditions
• Computing for Large Scale Accelerator Facilities (LHC, FAIR, NICA, etc.) 
• New detector and data analyses technique

 

The program will include invited talks (30 minutes) and selected contributed reports (20 minutes).
 

The working language is English.

Accommodation
 

Organizers of the conference propose accommodation for participants in hotels “Splendid Montenegro Conference & Spa Resort”***** and “Montenegro Beach Hotel”****. Rooms can be booked at special rates for the conference, given by “Montenegro Stars Hotels Group” (available during registration at website of the symposium). Number of proposals for rooms in the hotel “Splendid” is limited.

Prices are for one night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included (Full Board (FB)). Food for choice, served as buffet table in both hotels for all participants of the conference.

Getting to the Venue

 

There are 2 airports in Montenegro: Tivat Airport (25km from Budva, Becici) and Podgorica Airport (75km from Budva, Becici). Transfer from the airports can be arranged for an extra charge (from Tivat airport - 22 Euro for three passenger seats, from Podgorica airport - 50 Euro for three passenger seats).
