Description

Heat exchangers are used for evaporation of a natural gas stored in liquid form. One type of heat exchanger design is shell- tube heat exchanger which might use water or glycol as a heating medium. The temperature of the walls separating the two mediums may be lower than freezing point of water/glycol what can cause a formation of solid deposit impeding the heat transfer efficiency in the installation. During the presentation the analysis of the dependences mentioned above will be discussed.
