The Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies (MLIT) of Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) will be hosting an International Workshop on Mathematical Problems in Quantum Information Technologies (MPQIT) on 27-28 May, 2024 in a mixed format.
The main focus of MPQIT-2024 is on mathematical aspects of diverse problems in fundamental and applied quantum technologies such as
- quantum information theory,
- quantum communications,
- quantum computation, simulation, and quantum algorithms.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers from JINR member-states and around the world working on mathematical problems of quantum information science to exchange their experience and research results.
The schedule of MPQIT-2024 is such that there will be enough time for informal discussions addressing fundamental aspects of quantum information science and those obstacles that researchers face.
