Description
Web technologies have dramatically changed in 20 years. The coming of JavaScript and AJAX allowed web developers borrow elements from the desktop paradigm and introduce some interactivity to their websites. Modern technologies (like WebSockets) can realize the true real-time interactivity and in our days we have a trend to build GUI as a web application instead of programming a desktop application.
In this talk will be given an overview of the principles of building GUI based on web interfaces, advantages and disadvantages will be considered.Some examples with the focus on physical task will be presented.
