Welcome to NEC’2017!
On 25 September – 29 September, 2017, Montenegro (Budva), will host the regular JINR 26th Symposium on Nuclear Electronics and Computing - NEC'2017. The symposia have been held since 1963.
For the ninth time the organizers of the Symposium are JINR and CERN. The Symposium attendees will be leading specialists in the field of advanced computing and network technologies, distributed computing as well as GRID and cloud computing and nuclear electronics.
All previous forums of this series were highly appreciated at their true value by the leading specialists and companies involved.
The organizers of the NEC symposia traditionally paid particular attention to young scientists and specialists. The previous NEC conferences attracted an impressive number of such attendees which reached 35% of the total number of participants.
In the year of 2011, 2013 and 2015, within the scope of the symposium, organized were students’ schools on advanced information technologies, each being attended by almost 80 students from different countries. In 2017 the tradition is continued.
