Description
The paper deals with creation of the concept and the first prototype of the new signal synchronization system of the Nuclotron accelerator complex.
The text describes a new scheme for the collection and distribution of signals needed to synchronize many devices of the accelerator complex.
Much attention is given to problems of the development of electronic equipment. The following modules are considered in the text: Optics to i/o converter, pulse-forming block, interface submodules.
It should be stressed that the signal synchronization system in association with white rabbit technology will be the basis for creating the global timing system of the NICA.
