First Announcement

You are warmly invited to participate in the International Conference "Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics, 2024" (MMCP 2024), set to take place in the vibrant city of Yerevan, Armenia. The conference will be organized collaboratively by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, in partnership with esteemed institutions, such as the A. I. Alikhanian National Science Laboratory of Yerevan Physics Institute, the Yerevan State University, and the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. MMCP 2024 promises to be a stimulating gathering for researchers and practitioners in mathematical modeling and computational physics.

MMCP 2024 will be held from October 21 until October 25, 2024, and will be hosted by the Yerevan State University.

The Conference follows the rich traditions of the previous conferences on mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and computational physics which started in Dubna, Russia in 1964, e.g., Computational Modeling and Computing in Physics 1996, Modern Trends in Computational Physics 1998, V-th International Congress on Mathematical Modeling 2002 (in Dubna), Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics 2006, 20112015, and 2019 in Slovakia and 2009, 2013, and 2017 in Dubna.

The conference program will feature plenary lectures (30 min.) by eminent speakers, offering insights into the latest research and advancements in mathematical modeling and computational physics. Additionally, parallel sessions will provide opportunities for researchers to present their work through concise talks (15 min.), fostering engaging discussions and interdisciplinary interactions.

The proceedings of the conference will be published in a special issue of Physics of Particles and Nuclei following the event. Manuscripts submitted for publication will undergo a peer-review process for acceptance.

Preliminary topics:

  • mathematical methods and tools for modeling complex physical systems;
  • mathematical methods in life sciences;
  • modern methods for data processing and analysis in Mega-science projects;
  • machine learning and big data analytics;
  • methods of quantum computing and quantum information processing;
  • numerical and analytical calculations in modern mathematical physics;
  • methods and numerical algorithms in high energy physics.

The Conference will start on Monday, October 21, 2024 and it will end on Friday, October 25, 2024. Arrivals are expected on Sunday afternoon, October 20, and departures on Friday afternoon, or the next Saturday morning.

The working language of the Conference will be English.

We eagerly anticipate your participation in MMCP’2024 and encourage you to extend this invitation to your colleagues and peers who may be interested.

Detailed information, including the accommodation, proceedings, or deadlines will be provided in the second announcement in May.
