Collisions of transversely polarized nucleons are of interest for understanding their structure. In the report, we discuss the possibilities of studying the asymmetry of pions production in collisions of transversely polarized protons and deuterons on the MPD detector, which is created in JINR.

I will report measurements of the transverse (Px and Py) and longitudinal (Pz) components of the polarization transfer to a bound proton in the deuteron via thereaction, over a wide range of missing momentum.
