Study of exclusive processes at NICA
We propose to investigate at NICA exclusive vector mesons production, essentially $J/\Psi$ production which is dominated by a gluon GPDs. These reactions is similar to the corresponding process in lepton-proton scattering and determined by GPDs. Investigation of the exclusive D-Y production in the proton-proton reaction determined by two GPDs effects is in progress incollaboration with O. Teryaev and P. Kroll. We find that $d \sigma/(dQ^2 dt1 dt2) \sim 20-30 \mbox{pb/GeV}^6$ at small $t1, t2$ and $Q^2=5\mbox{GeV}^2$ at NICA energies. This reaction can be studied at NICA and give an additional excess to GPDs.

Off-shell initial state effects in DY processes at NICA
Precise theoretical and experimental study of angular distributions of Drell-Yan leptons, produced in pp-collisions, demonstrates the important role of initial-state interactions and influence of intrinsic transverse momenta of initial-state partons. If annihilating initial-state quark and anti-quark have transverse momenta they should be off-shell. The one way to preserve gauge-invariance of scattering amplitudes in all orders of perturbative QCD is consideration of initial-state partons as Reggeized partons which are constituents of Lipatov’s effective theory. In this talk we present results of calculations of invariant mass, transverse momentum spectra of Drell-Yan lepton pairs and virtual-photon polarization observables in unpolarized pp-collisions at NICA energy which were obtained in the Parton Reggeization Approach. The properties of Boer-Mulders function in PRA and prospects for taking into account the polarization of initial-state protons will be also discussed.

        Kinetics of polarization and filtering
A general kinetic equation is used to describe the evolution of polarization in non-relativistic scattering. The most detailed consideration is performed for the case of spin 1/2 projectile particle interacting with spin 1/2 particle of a target. The solution of the kinetic equation for the case of zero initial polarization is presented. The case of filtering, when some particles are scattered out of the beam, is also discussed. Calculations are performed for antiproton polarization buildup during scattering off a polarized proton target. The predictions for the polarization degree and for the time of polarization obtained within different potential models are presented.

Acceleration of polarized protons in the Nuclotron
One of the main tasks for the NICA project is colliding beams of polarized protons and deuterons. Polarized particles are supposed will be accelerated from source up to top energy in existing synchrotron Nuclotron. Acceleration of polarized deuterons already have been done. We consider in this paper all depolarizing spin resonances in Nuclotron for protons and suggest methods to overcome them.

The SPI source of polarized ions for the NUCLOTRON
The high intensity pulsed source of polarized ions (SPI) has been developed at JINR in collaboration with INR RAS for injection of polarized deuterons and protons into the Nuclotron and future collider of heavy and light ions NICA. The SPI is an atomic beam-type polarized ion source with a charge-exchange plasma ionizer and a storage cell in the ionization region. The source was commissioned and used in the NUCLOTRON runs in 2016 and February – March 2017. Polarized and unpolarized deuteron beams as well as polarized proton beam were produced to accelerate in the NUCLOTRON. Deuteron beam polarization of 0.6-0.9 of theoretical values for different modes of high frequency transition units has been measured with the NUCLOTRON ring internal polarimeter for the accelerated deuteron and proton beams.

The absolute polarimeter APol for the NICA collider
Conceptual design of the absolute polarimeter APol with an internal polarized atomic hydrogen/deuterium jet target for NICA collider is presented. It is proposed to install the polarimeter into the “warm” gap of the collider ring arc. The polarized jet will cross both accelerated beams. The jet target is based on the classical atomic beam source principle. Expected target thickness of the jet in the interaction regions is 1012 atom/cm2. Polarization of the atomic hydrogen/deuterium jet will be measured by Breit-Rabi polarimeter placed under collider ring into a jet catcher volume. APol will utilize a reaction of elastic scattering of identical nuclei (protons or deuterons).

Status of the New Low Energy Polarimeter at the Nuclotron
Conceptual design of a new universal low energy polarimeter at Nuclotron is presented. It is proposed to install the new polarimeter behind linear accelerator LU-20 instead of old low energy polarimeter (LEP). The 3 He target of this setup allows to measure both the vector polarization of protons and the vector and tensor polarization of deuterons. It is assumed that new design of polarimeter will make it possible to measure vector and tensor polarization of deuterons at the same time. The dipole magnet will be used to remove H 2+ component in deuteron beam. Fabrication of the basic parts of the modern polarimeter is in progress now.

Components of polarization-transfer to a bound proton in a deuteron measured by quasi-elastic scattering
I will report measurements of the transverse (Px and Py) and longitudinal (Pz) components of the polarization transfer to a bound proton in the deuteron via thereaction, over a wide range of missing momentum. The measurements were done at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI). A precise determination of the electron beam polarization reduces the systematic uncertainties on the individual components, to a level that enables a detailed comparison to a state-of-the-art calculation of the deuteron that uses free-proton electromagnetic form factors. We observe very good agreement between the measured and the calculated Px/Pz ratios, but deviations of the individual components. Our results cannot be explained by medium modified electromagnetic form factors. They point to an incomplete description of the nuclear reaction mechanism in the calculation.

The contribution presents development and recent status of the Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ) of the COMPASS experiment at CERN. In general, state-of-the-art Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ) in high energy physics experiments must satisfy high requirements in terms of reliability, efficiency and data rate capability. Over the years the ifDAQ was throughtfully tested and adjusted to improve all qualificators of DAQ. The resultant DAQ stability is discussed at the end and comparison with previous years is given.

        COMPASS DAQ deployment application
Complex data acquisition systems require sophisticated software control systems which usually consist of several individual applications. To provide proper functionalities of such control system, it must be deployed successfully. However, this deployment process is complex and tricky to be performed manually. Therefore, an automatic deployment application was to be created. This talk is to present one solution used at COMPASS, its capabilities and options to be used on different data acquisition systems outside the COMPASS experiment.

        COMPASS API
High-energy physics experiments inherently generate large amounts of digital data, which are stored using various methods. Yet every computer system that uses them needs to be designed with specific formats and structures that are used for their storage. However, introducing a programming interface, which enables to access and manipulate these data would allow to decouple the data storage systems from other applications, such as data acquisition control programs or programs for data processing. COMPASS API provides such interface, which may be used over an Ethernet network and is usable by computer programs regardless of the programing language used to develop them.

Silicon Tracking Systems for BM@N and MPD experiments at NICA
A current status of activities towards large aperture silicon tracking systems for the BM@N stage 2 and MPD experiments at NICA is presented. In 2020 it is planned to upgrade existing tracking system of BM@N experiment based on GEM detectors by installing additional four stations of silicon detectors. These stations will be based on double-sided microstrip silicon sensors and fast readout electronics developed for CBM experiment at FAIR. Such system will provide a spatial resolution less than 25 μm and material budget per one station less than 1.5% X0 and will improve sufficiently tracking reconstruction efficiency of the BM@N tracking system. Inner tracker (IT) of MPD experiment will be based on ALPIDE chip, a CMOS Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor being developed for the Upgrade of the ITS of the ALICE experiment at CERN. Design of the IT is now under discussion and first results of the Monte Carlo simulations for different system configurations were made.
