Soft Materials
Proceedings of the conference will be published as a special issue of the Soft Materials:“Complex and Magnetic Soft Matter Systems”, formatted as scientific papers.
Journal issue will publish an electronic version on their web-site.
Will be accepted Original research manuscripts if the work provides a substantial amount of new information. The maximum length of the article should not exceed 20 000 characters (including spaces).
Expected publication date: 01.12.2021
Suggested topical areas include, but not limited to:
- theory, simulations, and experimental research in physical, mechanical, structural, chemical, materials science, and biological aspects of soft complex matter with special emphasis on the soft magnetic matter (magnetic elastomers, ferrogels, ferroliquid crystals, associations of nanoparticles with biomolecules, and cells, etc.)
Please see the instructions on the website of the conference issue of the journal for submit your article.
Manuscript deadline 15 August 2021
Providing a common forum for all soft matter scientists, Soft Materials covers theory, simulation, and experimental research in this rapidly expanding and interdisciplinary field. As soft materials are often at the heart of modern technologies, soft matter science has implications and applications in many areas ranging from biology to engineering.
Unlike many journals which focus primarily on individual classes of materials or particular applications, Soft Materials draw on all physical, chemical, materials science, and biological aspects of soft matter. Featured topics include polymers, biomacromolecules, colloids, membranes, Langmuir-Blodgett films, liquid crystals, granular matter, soft interfaces, complex fluids, surfactants, gels, nanomaterials, self-organization, supramolecular science, molecular recognition, soft glasses, amphiphiles, foams, and active matter.
