Visa
To enter the Russian Federation, you need to apply for visa at the nearest Russian Consulate in your country.
To start visa formalities, it is necessary to send the following data
(yours and your accompanying person’s, if any):

- double-paged spread copy of the passport (with photo) in a jpeg format;
- exact postal address of the institution (affiliation) with postal code, city, street, and building number;
- fax/phone number;
- arrival/departure dates;
- cities you plan to visit in the Russian Federation;
- city of the nearest Russian Consulate where visa is going to be obtained.
A reference number or an original invitation received from the Consular Service in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be sent to you for presenting at the nearest Russian Consulate in your country.
Please note that your passport must be valid for 6 months after the visa expiration date.
