The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, Russia, The Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH), Bucharest, Romania, The Institute of Experimental Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Kosice, Slovakia, The Technical University, Kosice, Slovakia, and the Pavol Jozef Safarik University, Kosice, Slovakia, iterate their invitation to participate in the International Conference “Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics, 2017” (MMCP2017) which will be held on the premises of the
Laboratory of Information Technologies of the JINR from July 3 until July 7, 2017.
Scientific Programme
Conference topics:
- distributed and parallel computing in science and technology;
- mathematical methods and application software for modeling complex systems;
- bioinformatics and computational biophysics;
- mathematical methods and software for experimental data processing;
- computer algebra and quantum computing with applications.
Plenary lectures (30 min.) are scheduled during the morning sessions. Parallel sessions with short talks (20 min.) will be held in the afternoons. A poster session will also be organized.
Plenary lectures will be given by invitation or they will be selected from outstanding proposed contributions by the Local Organizing Committee on the recommendation of the International
Program Committee.
The preliminary list of the plenary lectures will be available soon.
Associate student school:
A student school called “Mathematical modeling for NICA” will be organized during the Conference. The School will involve both lectures and training sessions using the most advanced LIT facilities. Lecturers will be outstanding scientists. An attendance of about 30 students is expected from JINR and the JINR Member States.
Registration and Abstract Submission

It is assumed that the abstract will consist of the following main parts: title, authors’ names and their affiliations, e-mail address(es), body of the abstract (not exceeding 200 words), references.
All this information is to fit within one page of the “Book of Abstracts”. The PDF option (at the right upper corner) enables every author to check the abstract length fitting within one page.
Conference Venue
Laboratory of Information Technologies, JINR, Dubna
Dubna is a small quiet town located 130 km north from Moscow on the picturesque banks of the Volga River. There are convenient railway and bus communication from Moscow to Dubna and conversely, which are updated in real time by the mobile versions for train timetable and for bus timetable, respectively.
Accommodation in Dubna will be organized in the hotel "Dubna". Booking will be made by the organizing committee following the requests of the participants. This approach secures special discounts for the participants. Information on the hotel room prices will be updated on the site after April 1.
Registration Fee
Registration Fee for the foreign participants is 300$. It will cover the transportation from the Moscow airports or railway stations and back, coffee/tea breaks, Welcome Party, Conference
Proceedings, Conference Dinner and a social program. The fee for the accompanying persons is 150$. Accommodation will be paid separately, according to the scheme described above.
The Fee will be accepted in cash (Euro or USD equivalent) during the registration.
Organizational fee for participants from the Russian Federation and CIS countries is 4000 rubles.
The organization of the transport of the foreign participants from the Moscow airport/railway station to Dubna and back will be done through the JINR offices.
The working language of the Conference is English.
The Proceedings will be published soon after the Conference. The manuscripts will be accepted for publication after a rigorous refereeing procedure.
